Elgin-based Elgiloy Co. was sold by Katy Industries Inc. to North American Brass & Aluminum Inc., Philadelphia, for an undisclosed amount of cash and notes. North America Brass purchased all the assets of Elgiloy and obtained a long-term lease on the plant, with an option to buy.
