Mass for Kathryn E. Gardner, 72, of the Southwest Side, will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2825 W. 81st St. Mrs. Gardner died Sunday in Little Company of Mary Hospital, Evergreen Park. Mrs. Gardner was a past president of the altar guild at St. Thomas More church and past president of the auxiliary of the Chicago South Side Optometrics Society. Survivors include her husband, James J.; two daughters, Kathleen Connors and Mary Alene Quinn; two sons, James J. Jr. and John J.; four sisters; and seven grandchildren.
