Immediately after President Reagan`s televised talks to the nation, several commentators presumed to explain and interpret what the President has just said.

The President speaks English, which we understand, and we certainly don`t need these condescending ”sages” who twist his words. They show great disrespect, not only for the President but for us, the television audience, when they assume that we are incapable of understanding plain talk.
