Chicago-based Bally Manufacturing Corp. completed the acquisition of its fourth casino, the $439 million Golden Nugget Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City. Bally Chairman Robert E. Mullane said the acquisition ”is an important step in our restructuring strategy to enhance the long-term value of Bally.” Last week, a federal judge in New Jersey refused a Bally shareholder`s request to block the deal.
