You gave notice of the April 24 round table discussion on the ”merit”
judge selection process. Unfortunately, that discussion was held at a time and a place accessible primarily to the large law firms. The organizers couldn`t have done a better job of excluding the working public.
Let the lawyers who want to control the selection of judges take their forums out to the public. I believe citizens will see through the sham of proposed ”merit” selection procedures. In my opinion, these efforts are directed to having attorneys formally recognized as the ruling class of Illinois.
