Dennis J. FitzSimons, Tribune Broadcasting Co. vice president/operations, was named vice president and general manager of the company`s Chicago station, WGN-TV (Channel 9), effective next Monday. FitzSimons, 36, succeeds Joseph Loughlin, 57, who resigned last month from WGN citing ”personal reasons.”
Earlier in his career, FitzSimons served for two years as general sales manager for WGN.
