Mass for Michael P. Chatham, 17, an athlete and honor student at Crystal Lake Central High School, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas Catholic Church, Crystal Lake. Mr. Chatham was killed Friday in a car-train accident three miles south of McHenry on his way to school. He was to have completed his junior year next week at Central High, where he was a member of the varsity football, basketball and tennis teams and a member of the National Honor Society for two years. Survivors include his parents, Gerald K. and E. Mary; two brothers, Brian and Craig; and three grandparents, Elizabeth and Philip Clarke and Ruth Dees.
