Services for Joanne Kodish, 70, a veteran Democratic precinct captain in the 48th and 49th Wards, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel at 1300 W. Devon Ave. She died Thursday at her home on the Near North Side. Mrs. Kodish had been a clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County and also a clerk in Traffic Court and in the office of the Cook County corporation counsel. She also had worked in the city`s Municipal Reference Library in City Hall. Her late sister, Idelle Goode, was director of the Mayor`s Office of Senior Citizens and the Handicapped under Mayor Jane Byrne. Mrs. Kodish is survived by a son, Ben, and another sister.
