J.P. McWalter`s recent letter pointing out that the proposed Elgin-O`Hare highway would be parallel to Int. Hwy. 90 is an accurate statement when one looks at a map. However, if Mr. McWalter has had the pleasure of driving on I- 90, Algonquin, Higgins or Golf Roads and seen the extraordinary traffic on these east-west roads, he then would understand the need for this highway.
