More often than not, a letter to columns such as Voice is prompted by unpleasant events, complaints for one reason or another. I think it is high time we look at the brighter side of life.
Recently I had the pleasure of being introduced to the ”storefront theaters” in Chicago. We saw ”Toys for Men” as well as ”Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music” at the Theatre Shoppe on Lincoln Avenue, and it was delightful. It was a pleasure to see a comedy when so much around us seems to be guns and violence. I feel these young performers should be applauded for bringing a bit of laughter to a world shaky with war threats and political battles.
