Yugo of America raised the price of its GV hatchback for the 1988 model year by $209, to $4,199 from the $3,990 it has been priced at since it was introduced in 1985. Meanwhile, Nissan raised prices of its 1988 300ZX sports cars, pickup trucks and vans by an average of 1.6 percent.
