It`s too bad our politicians are not ”American statesmen” instead of Democrats and Republicans.
If they were ”Americans,” they would think, ”What is good for my country, (or city),” not, ”What is good for my party, and its pockets?”
They bury each others good ideas, for fear the other party might look too good.
