West German`s fourth largest privately owned commercial bank said it is buying the Milan and Rome subsidiaries of First National Bank of Chicago for undisclosed terms. Bayerische Vereinsbank AG said that, pending approval from Italy`s central bank, it intends to start business in the units next spring.
