Amoco Corp. boosted its quarterly dividend to 87.5 cents a share from 82.5 cents. The 6 percent increase is the first in three years by the Chicago- based energy company and is payable March 10 to stockholders as of Feb. 10. Amoco reported a 128 percent increase in fourth-quarter income.
