It`s all over for Chuck Connors on Fox Broadcasting Co.`s ”Werewolf.”
Fox officials say that Connors` nasty character, Janos Skorzeny, will be killed off in a two-part episode to air Feb. 21 and 28. The network reportedly wanted a younger man for the role. Brian Thompson is the new bad guy, beginning in March.
Fox (WFLD-Ch. 32) also has ordered 13 episodes of ”Angels `88,” a remake of ABC`s ”Charlie`s Angels,” as a replacement series. And to beef up the Saturday night lineup, ”The Dirty Dozen” will premiere with a special two-hour episode April 30. Eleven episodes are ordered for the 8 p.m. Saturday slot, to replace ”The New Adventures of Beans Baxter” and the George C. Scott vehicle ”Mr. President,” which will have their last hurrah April 23.
