Your excellent editorial of Jan. 22 on the Eugene Sawyer problem, ”The villain in the $30,000 case,” should be must reading for all Chicago officials and citizens. The key phrase is ”until city government reforms the process that makes this sort of abuse so easy, so inviting, so inevitable.”
We should be outraged that elected officials have such easy access to corporation officers and their purses.
