Services for William E. Garrett, a retired steelworker, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at 10900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn. Mr. Garrett, 70, of Oak Lawn, died Wednesday in Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn. He is survived by his wife, Florene; a son, Bill, an associate metropolitan editor of The Tribune; two granddaughters; and three brothers.
