Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful and factual article on Miami Beach (Oct. 30).
It made me remember Miami Beach when I was young-I am only a senior in high school now. My Miami Beach was a little different. The South Beach district wasn`t developed yet (I was born in 1971 and lived there until 1980) and I lived a little bit from the beach. But my grandmother went with me to the beach every day or so, and I thought I was in heaven.
When my family and I moved to Chicago, I always thought of Miami Beach as my home, and planned to move back ”down” and enjoy my native city.
Miami and Miami Beach are in the spotlight again. We have (the TV show)
”Miami Vice” to thank for bringing the mystique to the entire nation.
Miami Beach was always the center of the universe, and still is. I plan to live in Miami Beach. Anyone who hasn`t been there should go-it`s the most interesting place to visit. Viva Miami!
