– Liz Giometti, Lake Forest-She scored 25 points and had 16 rebounds in a 60-46 victory over Zion-Benton and accounted for 26 points and 8 rebounds in a 61-40 win against Antioch.
– Sheryl Kurowski, Resurrection-The junior averaged 9.375 to win the all- around title in the Titan Invitational at Glenbrook South.
– Rich Nowicki, Elmwood Park-In two games last week, the 6-4 senior forward was successful on 15 of 25 field goal attempts and was 10 for 15 from the free-throw line.
– James Sorrell, Lane Tech-The senior pinned four opponents last week to bring his record to 7-0.
– James Thomas, Leo-The 6-5 senior center scored 23 points and had 13 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in Leo`s 67-62 victory over Gordon Tech.
