Memorial services for Rev. Sophie Schaffer, 86, pastor of Silent Prayer Spiritualist Sanctuary, will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday in the church at 6343 W. Cuyler Ave. Rev. Schaffer died Monday in a Los Alamotos, Cal., nursing home. Rev. Schaffer is survived by her husband, Stanley; a daughter, Grace Fross; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
