Bobby Short returns to his favorite Chicago nightclub for performances March 9, 10 and 11. It has been his favorite Chicago nightclub for a few years and is probably even dearer to him now, since he owns a piece of it.
Accepting an offer from co-owners Bill Allen, Susan Anderson and Sharon Hardy, the Manhattan-based piano man is now one of the Gold Star`s owners. We don`t expect any changes but that Short will probably be a more frequent visitor, which makes this very odd business transaction a good deal for all of us.
