A $6 increase in commuter parking permit fees was approved by Downers Grove officials Monday. Commuters using the Downers Grove lot will pay between $54 and $60 per quarter under the new fee schedule.
”We`re making our parking (fees) comparable with other communities and comparable to public transportation in Downers Grove,” said Georgia Ragland, of the village`s Public Works Department. Shuttle bus service to the commuter station costs $22 per month, she said.
