Private services will be held for Randall ”Bud” Ratcliff, 78, of Oak Brook, who died Sunday in Hinsdale Hospital. A resident of Oak Brook since 1950, he was founder and a retired former vice president of R.V. Ratcliff Lumber and Forest Products Inc. He was a lieutenant in the Navy during World War II and served on Saipan. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Sally Preissner and Nancy Schaffer; a son, Robert Bruce; and three grandchildren.
