Now that he has ”pulled” off an unheard-of, first-time write-in victory, it will be interesting to see how much more vitriolic hysteria (kook, bush leaguer, charlatan, failure, etc.) will appear on The Tribune`s editorial pages.
In his last encounter for mayor he received over 450,000 votes. If Democratic National Chairman Ron Brown can entice some blacks into Daley`s camp and Vrdolyak gets a near similar count, he will not be a ”spoiler” but rather a winner.
