The Bulls` six free throws Wednesday against Boston comprised the second lowest total in team history.
The record was set March 13, 1973, against Seattle when they shot 2 for 5 from the line. Fewest free throws in NBA history was three by the Lakers in 1980 against the Clippers.
Only Horace Grant and Craig Hodges had foul shots against Boston.
– Seattle`s John Lucas is appearing in a CBS ”48 Hours” show on drugs in the workplace. Lucas said he was celebrating his second anniversary of being free from substance abuse this week.
– Two weeks ago, a man suffered a heart attack and died before a Seattle- Sacramento game. Three nights later, before Seattle played Houston, the national anthem singer twice forgot the words and never finished. Last week, when Seattle played Indiana, the clock went out for the final 14 minutes.
”Obviously, some strange things have been happening,” Seattle coach Bernie Bickerstaff said at the time. ”I`d hate to predict what else is going to happen to us.”

He suffered a debilitating arthritis attack Friday as Bickerstaff was going to the hospital, leaving only assistant Tom Newell on the bench against Milwaukee. So team President Bob Whitsitt joined him.
