Chicago Tribune handicappers had a banner day Saturday at Sportsman`s Park.
Handicapper Dave Surico had a $42.80 winner in the seventh race.
Quilla Bid won at first asking last year and repeated the feat Saturday for the fat payoff. He paid $15.80 to place and $8.40 to show.
All told, Surico had three winners for a combined $57.40 return.
Tribune racing writer Neil Milbert also had a big day. He correctly tabbed Syncopation ($4.20) in the first, Anglo Indian ($6.60) in the third and Home Run Hal ($13) in the fourth.
In the ninth Milbert correctly selected Shes a Lil Dawling ($11) and also had Another Tiffnye second for a $92.20 perfecta.
