Business systems giant NCR Corp. became the third major U.S. company this year to make arrangements to pull out of South Africa. Dayton, Ohio-based NCR, a maker of computers and business systems, will sell its majority shareholding in NCR Corp. of South Africa Ltd. to Allied Electronics Corp., a local manufacturer and distributor of electronics products. Earlier, Hewlett-Packard Co. and insurance company St. Paul Cos. Inc. both divested their South African stakes.
