Rockford-based Sundstrand Corp. agreed in principle to sell its Trans Com Systems unit to Sony Corp. Terms weren`t disclosed. Trans Com Systems, which is a division of Sundstrand Data Control, supplies airline passenger audio and visual entertainment systems.
