Nolan Ryan of the Texas Rangers was on his way to recording the sixth no- hitter of his career last week until the Milwaukee Brewers` Terry Francona slapped a single to left field in the eighth inning.
The next morning Ryan telephoned his lawyer, Richard Moss.
”You represent Francona, don`t you?” Ryan asked Moss. Told that he did, Ryan said, ”Well, at least we kept it in the family.”
