On Good Friday the Exxon Valdez dumped 10 million gallons of oil into Alaskan waters. A month and a half later it appears the second largest company in the U.S. has no real intention of cleaning up their mess.

While Exxon is claiming 70 percent of the oil has been cleaned up, not one single beach has been reclaimed. Thousands of birds (20 tons are being incinerated in Valdez this week) and mammals died, yet Exxon continues to spread the word throughout the Lower 48 that everything is under control.

Exxon has doublecrossed Alaska. We need to tell Exxon to clean up this oil regardless of the cost.
