Andre Dawson isn`t afraid of hard work, even if it`s the drudgery of punishing rehabilitation.
”I`ll never say I`m tired,” Dawson said.
”Believe it or not, I guess I sort of look forward to it.”
What was tougher was not being a part of anything.
”There`s a difference in being one of the nine guys out on the field, as opposed to being one of the 24 guys on the ballclub,” said Dawson.
”And when you can`t be on the field and you can`t be on the bench, either . . .”
