An ex-convict on parole for dealing drugs has been charged with killing a taxicab driver on the West Side Jan. 13, prosecutors said Tuesday. Warren Robinson, 35, of 4844 S. State St., is accused of shooting Earnest Walton, 50, to death in front of 5031 W. Ohio St. during an apparent holdup, authorities said. Robinson, who is on parole for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 1980 for armed robbery.
