B.F. Goodrich Co. acquired Foster Airdata Systems Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, a manufacturer of aircraft electronics equipment. Foster, formerly a private company, specializes in navigation computer systems and positioning sensors for the corporate, commuter, general aviation and military markets. Foster will become part of Goodrich`s Jet Electronics subsidiary headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
