If some veterans groups and politicians were appalled by the dirty flag on the floor of the Art Institute, they should visit their local Chicago public school and see the filthy, faded rags that the children pledge allegiance to every day.
What is this teaching our children about respect for the flag? Why don`t these groups and politicians put their money where their mouths are and donate a few flags to the schools?.
