Two months ago, I complained that in order to read about the White Sox, I had to turn almost to the ”obit” section of The Tribune.
Even though I was born and reared practically in the shadows of Comiskey Park, and have been a staunch White Sox fan for more than 60 years, I say this with sadness. I think it is fitting that my White Sox belong in the ”obit”
section. May they rest in peace!
