In his full page Tribune ad, Dick Duchossois thanks the dedicated people who rebuilt Arlington International Racecourse.
His thanks are both incomplete and misplaced; these ”dedicated people”
were paid for their work. He neglects to mention the taxpayers of Illinois who, through the questionable efforts of their legislators, are providing a generous subsidy to this already successful, multimillion dollar enterprise.
