The first meeting of the new Elmhurst task force on flood control, appointed last month by Mayor Charles Garrigues, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall.
Chairman Gerald Wolin said Monday that his main objectives are to ”come up with a project that will lessen flooding and sewer backups” and review the work done by other agencies and consultants to achieve those goals.
