Chrysler Corp. said that in an ”all-out effort” to reduce lead time on new products by a full year, it has initiated several organizational and engineering programs. In order to speed up decision-making by a long chain of management, Chrysler has established a team that will have total responsibility for executing vehicle programs from concept approval to production.
