The ”Tales from the front” episode about the pick-up artist priest was offensive. The article smeared priests in particular and Catholics in general. If a reporter has evidence that a priest has engaged in sexual activity that contravenes his vows, that might be newsworthy.
However, it is clearly irresponsible to print an anecdotal article which casts a church leader as a bar cruising womanizer.
