Stephen Chapman uses Serrano`s damp crucifix again in his second column condemning federal art funding; apparently he`s run out of examples.

Where`s concrete proof of this massive artistic rip-off he describes?

In Helmsian fashion, Chapman ignores the National Endowment for the Arts`

uncontroversial history and its support for education, folk art, state arts agencies, etc.

Instead he uses Serrano`s photo to justify abolishing a government endowment which wouldn`t buy doughnuts at the Pentagon.

Fact: We each pay only 65 cents a year for America`s arts. I challenge Chapman to stop hiding the truth behind one ”offensive” photo.
