U.S. Rep. John Porter (R., Ill.) announced Monday he is coordinating a relief effort in his North Shore congressional district for victims of Hurricane Hugo.
Porter said the relief effort would welcome donations of cleaning supplies, building materials and paper products such as paper towels, paper cups, tissue and napkins.
The donations will be accepted through Oct. 15 at the west campus of Lake Forest High School, 300 Waukegan Rd. Donations may also be left at township offices in Porter`s district.
