Zenith Electronics Corp. lowered its 1989 forecast for consumer electronics operating results to reflect changes in financial reporting that result from the proposed sale of the company`s computer business. The company now expects the segment to report operating results lower than those reported in 1988. In 1988, the segment reported $1.9 million in net income on revenues of $1.2 billion.
