S.C. Johnson & Son Inc., the Racine, Wis.-based consumer products company, named Richard M. Carpenter president and chief executive officer effective Jan. 2. Carpenter, 62, who joined the firm in 1952, replaces retiring Raymond F. Farley. William D. George becomes president and chief operating officer for worldwide consumer products. Barry P. Harris becomes executive vice president and chief operating officer for Worldwide Innochem.
