I`ve had many a chuckle over my breakfast with Mike Royko`s column, but a recent column left me sad.
As a volunteer tutor in a Chicago Board of Education program, I am always interested in the opinions of school children. However, by the time I read the last letter in that column I felt just as Mr. Royko must have.
Knowing his command and love of the English language, I strongly suspect that even as he sent in his column for publication, Mike Royko must have wept!
