Preston Carlisle is a schizophrenic. And a heck of a dancer. He`s the lead character in ”What Are We Going to Do With Mary?”, a show by the Chicago Repertory Dance Ensemble that mixes dance and drama in a rather unusual recipe. The first act of the show, which will be performed this Saturday and Feb. 10 at the College of Du Page, tells of a cartoonish love triangle involving Carlisle, his wife and their chauffeur. But the comedy turns into a nightmare in the second act as we see the world through a schizophrenic`s eyes. Woven into the story are plenty of dances and songs. Timothy O`Slynne as Carlisle (pictured here) also goes out into the audience throughout the play for some ”reverse heckling.” ”The `fourth wall` is really shattered,” a spokesperson said. The production, created by O`Slynne, premiered in Chicago last year.
