In the comics I was surprised to see characters from six strips frolicking in significant amounts of beautiful, white, fluffy snow.
As an avid cross-country and alpine skier and outdoor enthusiast, I have endured 2 1/2 very frustrating winters here in the Midwest. It depresses me further to see Skeezix wading through snow that is at least waist deep!
I wonder if the comics writers are drawing from seasonally induced wishful thinking, or from real-life experience. If the latter is the case, please let me know where these people live-I would like to vacation there next year.
