Kaneland regional-Kaneland (23-4) raced to a 45-23 halftime lead and breezed past Yorkville 76-45 to win its own regional crown with Dana Lettow scoring 25 points.
”I didn`t think it would be that wide a margin,” said Kaneland coach Dick Rink. ”They`re a very young team. They will be very nice in a year or two. Our pressure defense was too much for them to handle. I give them all the credit in the world.”
