I am very concerned about the rapid takeovers of U.S. companies by foreigners. The thought of so much economic power and control in the hands of foreign-owned companies truly frightens me. Where will it end? Will this someday become the United States of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Europe or Japan? Will foreign governments someday have the power to make decisions in our government, whether directly or indirectly?
I urge the members of Congress to develop legislation that will slow this trend and eventually reverse it.
