Mark Edmundson scored 26 points Wednesday night to lead Illinois Wesleyan to a 76-66 victory over North Central College in Naperville, ending the host team`s 14-game winning streak in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. Edmundson hit six of seven three-point shots.
The top scorer for North Central, which dropped to 20-5 overall and 14-1 in the CCIW, was Drew Hunter with 21 points. Illinois Wesleyan is 18-8, 13-2. The last time North Central lost was Dec. 29, when the Cardinals were defeated 64-61 by the College of St. Francis.
