Robert W. Amundsen, 71, a salesman in the Chicago area for 46 years, died Saturday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Mr. Amundsen, an Elmhurst resident, worked for for Synthane Taylor and the Western Slate Co., Elmhurst. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; a daughter, Annelle Fletcher; a sister;
and a grandson. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 Spring Rd., Elmhurst.
